ADVANTAGES OF BLOGS IN EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT

I want to share some reasons that I consider very important to highlight a blog in the education sector, it is therefore necessary that teacher development is taken into account these advantages to better leadership.
I hope these are very important to you.

  1. This allows you to publish online information for a wide audience
  2. It allows integrate the subjects with the advantage of technology and resources available
  3. We can extend the information with multimedia activities, achieving a more practical work
  4.  This can put text, audio, video, images that are very important to support independent learning
  5. This allows you to develop independent work and collaborative work, to coordinate ideas and make necessary changes in publications
  6.  It allows you to know the opinions of visitors to information space

THE MANAGER EDUCATIONAL AS A GREAT LEADER

The main responsible are the educational leaders, so there must be a commitment to the institution, appropriating the basic needs of each individual, ensuring complete harmony in the implementation of each academic stage.
Thus viewing the institution as a company, there must be a previous study of the operation thereof, this includes an awareness and preparation by the educational manager in the techniques and methodologies to be used in leadership during its term. There should also be a project that seeks internal customer satisfaction, which refer to the participants within the institution or that working for the same, that is, every individual should feel committed to each of the decisions that are taken with in order to create an enabling environment for optimal performance.
This involves Rectors, academic coordinators, teachers and other members responsible for divisions such as library, restaurant, laboratories and all the human and material resources to the entity.
Based on the above, we could say that a plan of educational control that allows to constantly monitor the processes of management, in order to determine the current status of the institution and the solution to any anomalies found during step necessary management. This would have far-reaching if combined with the "system approach" tool, obtaining satisfaction improvement plan.

IMPROVEMENT PLAN MANAGEMENT IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Colombian educational institutions are facing the challenge of
assume new forms of organization and addressing, therefore require educational management that allows them to focus its work on compliance current social demands, through the improvement of educational quality. In this sense, education is seen as a management aimed at strengthening the institutional educational projects to help strengthen the institutional life in the context of public policy process, and to enrich the educational processes in order to respond to local needs , regional and global.

Educational management requires rigorous diagnostic, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and recognition of significant experiences in relation to the improvement of educational quality.
For this reason, educational institutions should have high expectations of capabilities of all students, from the fundamental idea that anyone can learn. They must know where they are going through consultation with their communities in a mission, vision and institutional values, which help to define the objectives and educational strategy.

Having a concrete plan of studies and articulated reflecting the principles and objectives of the IEP as well as having as reference the guidelines that the country has established about what all students should know and be able to do. Offer many opportunities to learn and ensure that students continue permanently and independently learning, and to transfer what they learned to other situations and contexts. With this in mind should structure the contents of each area and grade, cross-cutting projects, educational activities, resources to be used and the evaluation strategies.

To ensure good governance within the educational establishment, the duty to consider the following steps:

  • PHASE OF SELF
  • STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT OF IMPROVEMENT PLAN
  • PHASE OF IMPLEMENTATION, MONITORING AND EVALUATION
Sincerily,
Liliana Hernández

Using a blog in education is a great tool to improve students skills , like writing and reading, furthermore, the blog is a collaborative tool which allows to the students write directly in the application and making their own web page, in this application, the students and writers can upload their points views and add videos and images, links with other blogs or web pages. many people use the blog to share their activities and upload knowledge about a lot of fields, economy, literature. maths, tourism, and in our case education. Nelson Valderrama 12240214

After proposing the different objectives and goals for the improvement plan for the establishment of Task 1 a possible scenario in which strategies for improving educational management could be implemented According to the concept of three decision levels in SCM, this concept would be adopted for the higher educational institutions (Harris, 1998). 1. Strategic Level: one of the most important decisions in the application of the plan of improvement of the chosen institution is the observation of the goals and the aims proposed in the first phase.in this case one of the objectives was the raise of the awareness about ownership and the training of the community . 2. Planning Level: Planning level decisions support strategic decisions. They tend to be medium range, medium significance, with moderate consequences. in this phase the decisions assumed were accepted by the community and the desire of improve can be watched when the meetings scheduled had a lot of participants, and the participations were asserted and the formation was well received. 2. Operating Level: The different activities for the improvement of the institution were well received, training sessions for different activities had the support of local government, and the various institutions supported this process, the formation of different groups to the improving the functioning of the institution brigades they were formed and these were created activities, these experiences were the subject of meetings with other communities to replicate this experience in other communities that suffer difficulties and problems as it had this institution. one of the greatest difficulties was not having a channel of communication, but with the visit of local institutions and with the visit of representatives of local government could be a more permanent communication. Why use Blogger?

First of all we should justify the choice of Blogger. We could indicate as reasons:

• First (as indicated in the previous section) it is a free and ad-free Google service, to be available to anyone with Internet access.

• Do not install anything, it is in Spanish and suffers no other blog Spam1.
• The experience of other teachers who blog on Blogger and have been used in a while. It seems logical that the continued practice of service (which can be easily changed) is synonymous with response to needs.

• Ease of management and configuration, making it suitable for any user even with no deep computer knowledge. It has an integrated editor own items. On the other hand, it has many configuration options and the ability to include blocks of code, so it can also meet the needs of more experienced users.
Disadvantages could indicate that there is not a manual for "advanced" operations such as changing the template (obviously this is not a disadvantage for users who do not need to), so it does not seem to be the best choice for a professional blog .

USING A BLOG IN A TRAINING ACTIVITY

Some of the usability of the blog in a classroom:
a) Blog classroom, or subject matter. It can serve to support the subject outside the classroom, complement the information given by the teachers in it, send tasks to perform after the training activity, etc.
b) staff blog student. It can be a space where students express their views, create your learning strategies around ICT and enriched with other colleagues who share their knowledge.
c) Creative Workshop / repository of multimedia files. Space that allows host any information in various formats (video, audio, image, etc.) to complement the information given.
d) Project Management Group. As space to foster collaborative work.
e) Electronic publishing multimedia. As a school newspaper, online magazine,
monographs on various topics, etc. In this use special form (although obviously in the other) we can harness the power of the blog as a media management, own or referenced from stores content (Flickr, Odeo, Youtube, etc.) files.
f) Navigation Guide. The function of these is to discuss blog sites, news and contributions in the form of criticism or comment from them.
